On Sunday, Sally Obermeder celebrated the impending birth of her second baby at a baby shower with her closest family and friends. The group, which included such famous faces as Samantha Armytage, dined on a yum cha lunch.
Sally’s baby with her husband Marcus will soon be born via surrogate, following a devastating cancer diagnosis that left Sally unable to carry another child.
The new baby will join the Obermeder’s eldest child, Annabelle. While it’s not known yet whether it will be a boy or a girl, some friends of the mum-to-be are theorising that Sally’s blue dress is a subtle hint towards a boy.
“Some thought the colour was a hint. Hmmmmm,” she wrote of the dress on Instagram, tactically giving nothing away.
There is one thing that wasn’t at all subtle, though: Sally is incredibly excited to meet her baby.
“Baby Obermeder may not be in my belly, but he/she is absolutely in our heart,” she captioned another image.
We wish Sally and her family all the best with their impending arrival.
