Ryan Reynolds reveals the sweet reason his daughter has an "unusual" name.

Hollywood has produced a number of “interesting” baby names over the past decade.

Some spring to mind, like Saint, West and Reign, courtesy KardashiansGwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple also turned heads as did Nicole Kidman’s daughter Sunday Rose.

Celebrities seem to have a free pass when it comes to baby monikers. So, when famously attractive couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds announced their newborn "James" back in January 2015, it seemed as if the pair had decided to buck the trend.

Except for the fact their baby was a girl.

James, classically a male name, was chosen for the couple's first born. Many speculated it could be because the now 18-month-old's mother also has a classically masculine name. Yet, 39-year-old Reynolds has said this is not the case.

Earlier this week, Bec Judd defended claims she had baby name regret. Judd had joked on Instagram she "should" have given her daughter Billie a more masculine name after she found out she was adding twin boys to her brood.

Judd felt she had to defend herself after several publications ran a story that Judd regretted her daughter's name. She posted a follow-up saying Billie was actually named after her grandmother.

Reynolds has never said he had any regrets about James' name, and with the announcement last month that he and Lively are expecting their second cherub, we can't wait to see what they choose to name James' sibling.
