We have been given our first look inside the new world of Rory Gilmore, where she casually meets Michelle Obama. You know, the First Lady of the United States? No biggie.
Released by the Gilmore Girls official Twitter account, the video sees the wonderful Rory chat to Mrs Obama about the best books she should read, as part of her Let Girls Learn initiative.
It begins with the classic Rory charm, getting caught up in the china room.
“Sorry I’m late – I got distracted in the china room again. I could live in there.”

They then continue to talk about Rory’s one and only true love: books.
“But I heard about your great trip for the Let Girls Learn initiative, and I know you’re going to need a great book to read on the plane. So, I thought I’d bring a few choices. I didn’t know what mood you’d be in so I brought all of Shakespeare ‘cause you can’t go wrong with the Bard,” and she goes on to list all the highly intelligent books that only Rory Gilmore can read.

Rory is still so hideously awkward - hasn't learnt any composure, and can't put people at ease which isn't great for her chosen field of work! The huge pile of books may seem funny, but it's terribly inefficient and self-indulgent of Rory in front of one of the world's busiest women. I'll watch the new GG, but not for Rory. She's cringeful!

Yes but she's so frustrating. as if you'd coolly rock up late for a meeting with Michelle Obama. I always found Rory twitchy and arrogance Ugh!
