Not everyone agrees with Ronda Rousey's latest sex advice.

“You should never need lube in your life. If you need lube, than you’re being lazy

Ronda Rousey has said some controversial things during her time in the limelight, but her comments about lube might just take the mantle for the most divisive.

While dishing out sex advice for a Maxim column titled “Help Me Ronda!”, the mixed martial arts champion said she didn’t believe in lubricant as a sex aid.

“What should a guy always do? Take his time,” she said.

“In general, a girl takes a minute. He needs to get her ready.

“You should never need lube in your life. If you need lube, than you’re being lazy... and you’re not taking your time.”

Rousey on gender equality in fighting. Another reason why we love her:

Her biggest turn off? “Don’t bite my teeth!”

If my teeth are repeatedly hitting your teeth, then there’s a problem with what you’re doing,” Rousey said.

“That freaks me out. I don’t like it. It’s terrible. I have a thing about my teeth. Even though I do a sport where I get punched in the face for a living, if your teeth hit my teeth more than a few times, I’m over it already.”

The popular fighter – who has won legions of fans of both genders with her impressively quick knockouts, no-bullshit attitude and digs at Floyd Mayweather, a renowned perpetrator of domestic violence – said her ideal date would be tailgating, drinking beer and hanging out in a pick-up truck.

“As far as the best present, if a guy showed up at my door with some buffalo wings and cider beer, that’d be it for me,” she said.

“Because I have all the stuff that I want. Buffalo wings and cider is all I need.”

And with that comment, she likely went to the top of every straight man’s dream girl list.

Ignorant mouthy woman who hasn't hit menopause yet.

What exactly makes her 'mouthy'? The fact that she was asked a question and had the temerity to answer? What should she do, get all shy because the question was about sex, blush and then say that she was too embarrassed to answer? Ia agree that she may not have 100% of the facts in this situation, but calling her mouthy is completely ridiculous.

I suppose it's just my take on someone who seems happy to make generalisations about things beyond her ken. Got nothing to do with whether she should be coy or not. Just someone who clearly thinks that her experience is that of everyone.

Well, she does have a point about women needing a bit more attention to get things going. She just got it wrong about the lube. BTW, great name for her column!
