In a group date twist, the Bachelors were faced with a harsh interrogation from Ali’s best friend and cousin.

But while the girls were there to interrogate the boys, it was Robert who ended up taking charge in his interview.

“Do you believe Ali’s learned what she’s needed to learn from her past?” Robert questioned the girls.

“Has she done the work in order to get to where she is now?” he added.

Erm.

What.

"I need a woman that's strong, I need a woman that's independent and stands on her own two feet."

After meeting with Robert, Ali's friends described the experience as "draining".

And honestly, we don't blame them – Robert's questions wereprettyintense.

Twitter agreed to, with some even saying Robert's blew his chances.

But while some viewers thought Robert's interrogation was too intense, others thought he was well in his right to ask his own questions.
