Have you seen Rebecca Mackenzie?

Friends and family of Rebecca Mackenzie are pleading for public assistance to find the missing Brisbane woman.

Ms Mackenzie, 22, was last seen celebrating a friend’s 23rd birthday at Met nightclub in Fortiture Valley, in Brisbane’s nightclub precinct.

She got into an argument with her boyfriend at around 2:00am on Sunday and her belongings were left with a friend before she “stormed out”.

She has not been seen since.

The hashtag #findbec is trending in Brisbane as locals and Ms Mackenzie’s friends try to spread the word of the young woman’s disappearance.

Police say they “are concerned for Ms Mackenzie’s wellbeing as she has not contacted friends or family since this time, and has not turned up for work”.

Ms Mackenzie is described as Caucasian, approximately 160cms tall, with a slim build, long brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black top and shirt, as in this picture:

What kind of man would let his gf walk through the streets of The Valley at 2am without her belongings in an aggravated state of mind?

My friends and I have all dated guys who've done this to us before. I remember wanting to run in to on coming traffic when I had a fight with an ex. Thank God I am now married with children to a man who truly loves, respects and cares for me.

I think you perhaps meant 'Fortitude' Valley, not 'Fortiture' Valley.

There's a time and a place for correcting someone's vocab. Most definitely not the time...not the place. Thoughts with this young lady, and hoping she's found safe and well very soon.
