pregnancy

Channel 7 reporter Rahni Sadler is pregnant to her single best friend of over 20 years.

Former Sunday Night journalist Rahni Sadler is pregnant with her first child at the age 45, confirming to news.com.au she is welcoming the baby with her best friend of over 20 years.

Sadler, who has been a reporter for Channel 7 for over a decade, is six months pregnant and due in October.

News Corp reports the journalist travelled to South Africa to seek IVF treatment with her single best friend, Geoff Dunn, earlier this year.

Dunn is the executive producer of Seven News Sydney.

Confirming the happy news to news.com.au, Sadler said she and Dunn are “beyond ecstatic”.

In June last year, The Australian reported the journalist had quietly departed Sunday Night with little fanfare after first joining the program in 2010.

Sadler married former Channel 7 cameraman Trent Miller in 2009, though the two split a year later. Miller is now married to Footy Show host Rebecca Maddern.
