She put on a fat suit - and went on a bunch of Tinder dates.

Men have one big fear when it comes to online dating.

And no, they’re not worried about their safety or their privacy.

They’re worried that the woman they meet up with might be fatter than originally expected.

Youtube channel Simple Pickup decided to find out just how shallow men can be when it comes to online dating. They got a really hot, slim girl to get on Tinder and arrange to meet up with a whole lot of guys.

Before the actual meeting, they dressed the girl up in a fat suit – and then sent her out to meet her suitors.

We’re not going to say anything about the video just yet. Just watch:

Okay. Now that you’ve watched the video… help us process it.

Five guys. Four of whom were total douchebags about the entire experience. They were rude, they were mean and they were sneaky (how about that old I’m-just-going-to-use-the-bathroom trick?).

Are men really this superficial? Or did the girl in the video just manage to pick some really bad eggs?

There are plenty of comments under the Youtube video which make us lose faith in humanity that little bit more. Many of them are defending the men’s reactions, saying that they have every right to feel deceived by a photo.

But do they really? And would they have had a similar reaction if it was the other way around – if the girl was thin, rather than fat? What about if she looked younger than her photo? Or older?

All we know is that we’re sad about it. Because only one out of the five guys showed any interest whatsoever in her personality – all they cared about was the fat suit.

What do you think about the video?

Firstly if we put aside the fact that most guys use Tinder simply to get sex, I will get onto my next point.
It's human nature to want to date someone that you are physically and mentally attracted to. It's a fact of nature that someone who is obese and unhealthy is viewed as unattractive and undesirable- human beings aren't meant to be morbidly obese, it reeks of bad health and gluttony, especially if its early in life when you should be at your fittest. So If someone - anyone, male or female - goes out on a date with an idea of what to expect physically from the person as a motivator, thinking "My date is cute, nice figure, hopefully we get along!.." but the date turns out to be morbidly obese and nothing like what you expected (as in your personal taste) you're not going to be able to get past that. The deceptive photos are the next thing, it means you're a liar, and nobody likes a liar, especially a morbidly obese one- its a bad way to start a date, having LIAR plastered across your forehead.
I am a feminist and I believe all women have beauty, however I do not blame the guys for being disinterested in her.
It's not their fault if they're not attracted to her. I'm sure if the roles were reversed and it was a man in an obese fat suit who went on a date with a few women who were expecting him to be Chris Hemsworth buff, they would do the exact same thing. It's not just men who want to be attracted to their dates!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm. Ok. Here's what I'll do:

First, I'll create a profile on http://sugardaddie.com. Obviously my profile will show how wealthy I am. Then I go on a date with girls who have selected me based on that profile. I will dress myself as a poor man. And then obviously these girls will dump me.

Then I can scream all women are just interested in money.

Next I'll create a profile as a black guy... and turn up as a white guy. All woman then will become racists.

Etc etc..

Silly really.
