It just seems like some guy who hates women has sat behind a computer and made up those names to intentionally make fun of women, duck face.... fish gape.... he must be laughing his head off. I feel sick.

Totally. Really it's just women trying to look beautiful and traditionally sexually appealing. Given that's what society beats into women that they should do, why are we now criticising them for it? Especially when the majority of women named in the article literally made their livelihoods out of being sexy/beautiful.
It's not empowering and no one ever said it was. But is it degrading? Well, not much more so than wearing heels, getting waxed and putting on make up is, for the exact same reasons.
