Daily Buzz: He fell in love with his wife. And her twin.

COULD YOU LOVE MORE THAN ONE PERSON AT ONCE?

Tonight Insight SBS (8.30pm) tackles polyamory, including the man, Mark Glasby, who fell in love with his wife’s twin. Now all three of them live, and love, together. Polygamy (marrying multiple people) is illegal in Australia, but loving multiple people is not.

“I am unfortunate in one respect in that I live in a society that does not tolerate multiple marriages,” he said.

“I have no idea why our society has deemed it illegal to marry more than one person, but I suspect it was all originally driven by religion.

“If I had the option I would most certainly be legally married to both girls, as they are both, in every respect except on paper, my wives.”

So, what’s your view?

Here’s the promo for the show:

Here’s what else is on our radar:

1. Too many screens (phones, laptops, iPads, TVs) are over-stimulating kids and ‘stealing’ childhoods. How many screens are in your house?

2. A bus driver kicked a 15-year-old boy of a bus (after he mooned another bus) and left him 75km from home. The boy had to walk ‘some distance’ before he could get a phone signal to phone his dad.

3. Humans can save themselves by moving to apartments in the city, getting rid of their cars and having fewer children, according to the founder of TED Talks Chris Anderson.

4. Apparently 1 in 10 Australians believe the world will end this year … something about a Mayan calendar? Hmmm.

5. A family has sued its own matriarch after she tumbled down the stairs holding her five-month-old granddaughter in New South Wales, causing ‘traumatic’ head injuries.

6. There’s been a bit of chatter today about Opposition Leader Tony Abbott’s rallying call to his MPs saying of Gillard: “Gillard won’t lie down and die, and where there’s life, there’s fight.”

i am not in support for polyamorous and polygamous relationships...it is pretty natural for animals not for human beings..a person cannot have true love with two persons at a time...its just a belief for people who think.yes...thats how romantic love had been made...being in a relationship after having already a special person in life is utter nonsense..people are being in more than one just to fulfill their desires or like to be crazy...such attempts where made in past but had failed..and i know many gay people.supporting monogamy..and if monogamy creates fights polygamy will create even much more..its all about relationships not artificial items..
