Fans are furious with Dave from Married At First Sight about how he treated his wife.

On Monday night viewers tuned into Married At First Sight60 minutes later, they walked away with a slight twitch and a snarl.

The person at the crux of everyone’s fury is named Dave.

Dave, you see, is quite partial to golf and wears a lot of ugly Hawaiian shirts.

He also, according to many fans of MAFS, does not treat his “experimental wife” Jess all that well.

Actually, scrap that, he treats her like a flaming fireball of poo.

The drama began on their romantic overseas honeymoon when Jess decided to talk about something many women deal with - insecurities about wearing a bikini.

Jess: "I'm self-conscious around people in my swimmers. I can see a lot of faults with the way I look in swimmers and it takes me a long time to be comfortable with what my partner sees... it's definitely a vulnerability."

Dave didn't take too kindly to this "feelings" nonsense, and instead of putting an arm around Jess and telling her she looks great in her own skin, he said this:

"Always? You're never going to get over it?"

He then proceeded to tell producers that Jess having insecurities was "disappointing" (yes, "disappointing") because he wants a confident gal who is COMPLETELY INSECURITY FREE.

We discuss Dan, and the end of the honeymoon phase on the latest episode of The Binge

At this exact point, if you listened very closely, you could hear the collective screams of women right across the country.

Or if you're hearing impaired, a quick glance at Facebook would've done the trick.

Quick translation of the above: Jess, you're amazing. Dave, stop being a d*ck.

If Monday night's episode was anything to go by, the flame between these two is burning out faster than you can say "Channel Nine paired these two together for the TV ratings".

I'm somewhat overweight. If you have body insecurities ( I do ) lose weight or keep it to your self or tell your girl friends. Do I look fat in this questions are a path down a never ending rabbit hole and a passion killer. Your partner is not your therapist.
Having said that your partner should make you feel like you are beautiful and if he doesn't he might not be 'the one' but don't fish for compliments.
