It’s been just over a month since singer Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room in Los Angeles.
In her first interview since her mother’s death, Whitney’s 19-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina chatted to Oprah, saying she was “doing as good as I possibly can”.

I find it pretty tasteless that this interview took place so soon after Whitney Houston's death. Four weeks is nothing after the loss of a close family member, and I don't know what Oprah expected to achieve, except publicity... it's not like Bobbi Kristina could offer any real perspective only a month after her mother died, and she's surely still in the very raw early stages of grief. Not impressed.
I feel the same way. I feel like Bobbi Kristina is being exploited here a little.
But at the same time, I am impressed with how she dealt with that interview. She was extremely strong and very grown up. I guess she's grown up a lot in the past 4 weeks.
Let's just hope she has the strength to stay away from the demons that claimed her mother.
