The LA Times reports:
Former teen idol Leif Garrett was busted on charges of possession of heroin on Monday, we can report.
Released on a bail bond in the wee hours on Wednesday, the star is due back in court Feb. 24 to answer for the stash of black tar heroin that authorities say was hidden in his shoe.
Garrett has a history of arrests involving illegal substances: in 2006 for yet more heroin on the L.A. subway, in 1999 for allegedly attempting to purchase drugs from undercover officers, and in 1979 when an under-the-influence Garrett left a passenger disabled after a crash.
Arguably his most popular song, “I Was Made for Dancin’ ” was also released in ’79.

Iva’s wife is beautiful. How old is she, and does she still dance? I saw her in the Man of Colours video clip along with Iva’s dad, which I think was a great tribute to his father. I also saw her in a video of Graeme Murphy’s “Some Rooms.” I must say that she glides like an angel, no wonder Iva fell in love with her. How long were they engaged before they decided to marry. I read somewhere that Iva said that he and Tonya met in 1985 at the Sydney Opera House while she was dancing and he was singing in “Boxes.”
