What's your obsessive THING?

My routine is sacrosanct. I’m about as spontaneous as a house brick.

Mess with it unnecessarily and I will hold a grudge that lasts longer than diamonds.

There is, it must be said, a delicate trade-off in my life between the things about which I am obsessively ordered and neat … and those things which I am not. My office desk, for example, looks like a paper store exploded on top of it but during exams I used to fastidiously line up my pages, ruler and pens with the edge of the desk before I could begin.

Remember when a teacher cleaned the blackboard during class and missed a bit? It didn’t just bug me, it consumed me.

Oh, and let’s not even speak of my food quirks and requirements. Shhh.

I’m a contradiction, but only if it’s stacked in identical columns.

This gallery will astound. Clever.

What are you obsessive about?

Oh, and I may have gotten in trouble at JB Hi Fi for putting the bargain bins in alphabetical order.

I think that greeny yellow Porsche should be next to that yellowy green Buick.

I always sorted my colouring pens and pencils into colour order like the photos, from as young as 5.

I must turn toilet rolls around the right way (over) no matter where I am. I try to tell myself to just leave it but I can't. It's a compulsion.

I do the toilet roll thing too - and I agree, they should be over!

no one who prefers it under would ever think to 'correct' anyone else's roll. Anyone who prefers it under hasn't thought about it enough. I know I can correct someone's toilet roll if it's the wrong way and they won't even think to turn it back! ha

I too have the same obsession with turning the toilet rolls over lol. I just can't leave it in the wrong position.

Amen to you and your toilet roll obsession.
Over is the only way to go!
