'It's giving Skims... on a budget.' 17 things the Mamamia team shopped this month.

We're always in the mood for shopping, if you couldn't already tell. And last month was no exception.

With summer coming to an end, in February the Mamamia team stocked up on new basics, dresses and accessories for workdays, special events and the season ahead.

Here's everything we added to our wardrobes - and why we rate it all.

Decjuba Rosalie Rib Tank, $44.95.

Image: Decjuba.

"I bought this ribbed tank top in three colours because I loved it so much. I've been struggling to find a tank top that wasn't cropped, that fit over my bra straps and was high quality. FYI the orange is currently on sale..." Madeline Muir, Audience Development.

Aere Gathered V Neck Linen Dress, $180 and currently 30 per cent off.

Image: Supplied.

"This dress is the hardest working piece in my wardrobe. I wore it two days in a row when it arrived and have worn it a bunch since. Chuck it on, don't bother ironing it (because it's supposed to look that way) and go." - Charlotte Begg, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

By Johnny Johnny Feather Mini, $380.

Image: Supplied.

"I wore this for my hen's party the other weekend and felt amazing! Looked like an actual hen! The material is lovely and stretchy and it honestly felt so comfy, while still feeling super spesh." - Erin Docherty, Senior Health and Beauty Writer.

Glassons Organic Scoop Neck Cropped Tank, $14.99, and Target Cosy Sleep Pyjama Pants, $30.

Image: Supplied.

"This Glassons tank has been the MVP of my summer wardrobe. It's giving Skims... on a budget. And I posted about the pants on my Instagram and got quite the response.. maybe because I wore pyjama pants to work and got away with it! These are way more luxe than the price tag would have you believe." - Tamara Holland, Head of Lifestyle.

Uniqlo Pleated Wide Pants, $59.90.

Image: Uniqlo.

"They're such a nice fit and for short gals like me they're a good length, they wear like a full length pant with that perfect amount of slouch - no tailoring necessary." - Talia Philips, Strategy Manager.

Bresac 0003 Sunglasses, $285.

Image: Supplied.

"Some people collect hats, I collect sunglasses. These are the latest I'm adding to my collection - cool, good quality and big enough to wear on days I don't look my best or don't want to be seen. Stylish and practical."

Sheike Portfolio Shirt, $149.99, and Portfolio Pant, $149.99.

Image: Supplied.

"I am loving the colour and fit of this two-piece. Also wearing the pants a lot with different tanks as it's a bit hot for the shirt right now..." - Laura Jackel, Parenting Writer.

Crocs Mega Crush Clog, $129.99.

Image: Supplied.

"I’ve been obsessed with Crocs. Obsessed. I’ve been wearing my white platform ones all the time lately, they’re SO comfortable, I love that they give me some height and they’re also fun and nostalgic." - Isabella Ross, News Writer.

Tendresse Studio Sylvie Simple Bias Slip, $350.

Image: Supplied.

"I've never been comfortable or confident wearing a slip dress on its own, I've always found the fit too clingy or felt too naked - but this silk one from Melbourne label Tendresse has changed that. It's cut to flow over your curves, meaning no awkward bunching and you can stay true to size (mine even skims over my bump and I'm in my third trimester). Plus, their pieces are made locally. An investment, for sure, but one that will last for many years and wears to come." - Tamara Holland, Head of Lifestyle.

Kellective by Nikki Love Letter Earrings, $56.

Image: Supplied.

"I was kindly gifted these earrings ahead of Valentine's Day and haven't taken them off since. They feature my partner and I's initials and are handmade in Brisbane. I love them."

Em on Holiday Happy Check Knit Vest, $195.

Image: Em on Holiday.

"I've been wanting a knitted vest for a while and love this one so much, it's the perfect boxy shape meaning I can wear it by itself while it's hot then over a shirt when the weather cools down." - Emmeline Peterson, Podcast Producer.

Muma World Kumquat Illustrated Shirt, $360.

Image: Supplied.

"I've only worn this shirt twice now (it's called my 'party shirt' so I save it for special occasions), but I've received so many compliments both times. The quality is exceptional, and it has kumquats, bees and lobsters on it. While my print is sadly sold out for now, there are a bunch more that are just as fab."

CLUTCH Glue, $29.

Image: Supplied.

"I avoid wearing anything that needs fashion tape - I find it to be fiddly and you can often see it through your clothes. Not this guy. This little bottle is a first of its kind clothing adhesive you apply directly to the skin. It glues your clothes down, is sweat-resistant and comes off with water at the end of the night. Genius." - Charlotte Begg, Senior Lifestyle Writer.

Chanel Acetate CC 5430 Rectangle Sunglasses, $423.

Image: Supplied.

"I have been sporting these Chanel sunnies non-stop this summer. They're my favourite colour (pink!) and they go with pretty much everything. I can say with 100 per cent certainty that I do NOT regret spending on these." - Jaslyn Berg, Brand Partnerships Executive.

Tokyo Foxtrot Valentina Tie Top, $119.95.

Image: Tokyo Foxtrot.

"I'm at the point in wedding planning where all I'm looking at online is white outfits, and this silk set is LUXE. Both the top and the pants can be styled various ways and be worn together or separately. I was gifted the top, and I can't wait to style it with some sunnies and heels soon."
