A Biggest Loser baby is on its way.
Biggest Loser stars Michelle Bridges and Steve ‘Commando’ Willis have put their workouts aside this morning to make a major announcement – their first child together is hiding under Michelle’s rock hard abs.
Michelle Bridges, 44, confirmed the exciting news this morning on Twitter.
The baby will be Michelle’s first while her partner, Commando, 39, already has three children, Ella, 6, Jack, 3, and Brianna, 15, from two previous relationships.
Who has confirmed that Bridges is 18 weeks pregnant and due to give birth just after Christmas.
“Now is the perfect time,” Bridges told the magazine.
The couple admitted they were trying to get pregnant but didn’t think it would happen so quickly.
“[It just happened]… I was good to go and start the whole [IVF] process, and I rang them up and said, ‘Won’t be needing that!’ she said in the Who interview.
Bridges also shared the way she told Commando their news.
“I did a test and I walked out into the kitchen and Steve was on the computer, and I stoodthere for probably a couple of minutes just staring at him thinking, ‘Once I tell you, everything’s changed,’ she said.
“And Steve looked up and said, ‘How long have you been standing there?’ And I said, ‘Couple of minutes.’ I just kept looking at him and he said, ‘You’re pregnant, aren’t you?’ and I said, ‘Yep’. And he goes, ‘Knew it.’ And went back to typing!”
Bridges and Commando told the magazine how happy and excited they are.
“We’re really looking forward to it and it’s a new chapter for us, and we’re excited to have the opportunity to share it with our friends, family and Steve’s beautiful children,” Bridges said.
And of course, Bridges won’t let something like a baby stop her from keeping up her fitness regime.
“I’ll be exercising right up until the day I go to hospital,” she said.
“I’m training for the main event.”
The celebrity couple got together in May 2013 after Michelle split from her husband of nine years and business partner, Bill Moore, to be with Commando. Commando also split from his wife, Froso.
They temporarily parted ways that same year, but have since remained dedicated partners.
The pair rarely talk about their relationship given it started amid accusations Commando cheated on his wife, but the pair now appear happier than ever.

In an interview with AWW in 2012, Michelle spoke about the idea of having her own family. She said she was reconciled to the idea that she may not have children.
This Biggest Loser baby is very exciting news indeed for the popular couple.

Oh the judgement. I should have expected it. Here I was expecting it to kick in when she is excercising insanely to the last day but nope already started!
She will be copping the, 'She's harming her baby by training so much!' and 'She cares more about her body than her baby!' BS schtick all the way through her pregnancy, unfortunately.
