Leave Donald Trump alone. He's just confused.

We need to all calm down.

American Presidential hopeful and billionaire Donald Trump is not sexist. It’s just that sometimes he just forgets the words for things.

Take this weekend for example.

Over the weekend he was speaking at a debate and he got a little thrown off his game when the moderator of the debate, Megyn Kelly, asked him why he likes to call women he doesn’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals.

Mr Trump got a little bit flustered at that, so after the debate he explained to a reporter why he was so ill-at-ease about the question.

He said that when Megyn Kelly was asking him questions, “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her Wherever.”

So, according to Trump this is what the other Republicans at the event saw:

And this is apparently what Donald Trump saw:

When everyone became concerned about what Trump saw, the billionaire went on to say that he wasn’t hallucinating, he’d actually just got his words a little mixed up.

Poor Donald Trump.

When he said that Megyn Kelly was bleeding from “her Wherever”, he didn’t mean her vagina (of course not). He just couldn’t think of the word for nose. Or ears.

Trump said, “I was going to say nose and/or ears, because that’s a very common statement…You think I’d make a stupid statement like that?”

No! Of course not. I mean, there’s no way that a Presidential hopeful would suggest that Megyn Kelly was asking him a tough question because she had her period. That’s ridiculous.

Mr Trump, you don’t need to be embarrassed about forgetting words. We all do that from time to time.

But you probably want to get that checked out because lately we’ve noticed that you’ve forgotten a few other words too.

Like when you screamed at a breast-feeding baby, “you’re disgusting, you’re disgusting”, you obviously just forgot the word for “entitled to feed your baby any way that you like”.

Or like when you called Arianna Huffington a “dog” and said that her husband left her for a man because she was “ugly”, you just mixed up the word for “a professional commentator and journalist entitled to her opinion”.

And when you instructed your lawyer to say, “By the very definition, you cannot rape your spouse.” You mixed up the word “cannot” for “should not”. It’s an easy mistake to make.

Or when you said, “You know it really doesn’t matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass”, what you really were reaching for was “fact checking is important to me”.

And when you said on your show, The Apprentice, that one of the women “would make a pretty picture on her knees”, you probably meant, “I appreciate your contribution to this discussion and the fact that you’ve even agreed to do this program”.

Or when you said that Mexicans who came to American were “rapists” and that “someone is doing the raping”, you forgot the words for “welcome” and “I know that it is unhelpful for me to indulge in racial stereotyping.

And when you said that Hilary Clinton “can’t satisfy her man” so she won’t be able to “satisfy America”, you momentarily lost the words for saying “I disagree with Hilary Clinton’s policy positions”.

So when you said today that you “cherish” women and that “they make money for me… And in many cases, they truly are really talented and they can be killers,” we know what you mean to say is that you are very sorry for carrying on like such a peanut and that the women of America are best served by you retiring from public life.

We understand Mr Trump. You’re not a sexist, racist bigot. You just sometimes get a bit mixed up.

My observation is people find him refreshingly honest. He says some insane comments but.for once in so so long he speaks his mind and not some robotic scripted tripe. He is gaining a lot of momentum not because people agree with his statements but because he is honest with his own opinions.

While what you say is true; honesty is not so refreshing when its racist misogynistic rhetoric that shows his true colors. Imho hes a spoiled brat who has decided he wants the presidency just like he would want a new car. The American voting public is like his doting mother. If he stomps his feet, throws around some more "honesty", and threatens to throw a huge tantrum, he truly believes the voters will give him whatever he wants. Will it happen? Maybe. But only because the American voting public are tired of the status quo. In that respect they would vote for a trained monkey if it were running.

Oh dear. Please don't let him become president. He could rival our politicians for idiocy.
