beauty

You loved her adorable paper dresses, and now she's at Fashion Week.

From lounge room to the runway.

If she looks familiar, she is.

Little 4-year-old Mayhem is the girl who made us all fall in love with her paper dresses.

With help (and a fair amount of imagination), Mayhem and her mother Angie craft delicate designs from foil, wrapping paper, tissues and masking tape, sharing their results with over 400,000 fans on instagram.

And now she has shown at Fashion Week. That's right, this little fashion designer featured her very own show at the most exclusive Fashion Week in New York.

Here mum instagramed: "Guess who got an invite from @samsungmobile to see the Reem Acra show at #NYFW? As if it wasn't enough to get to sit in on a real fashion show, today Mayhem got to have her own paper dress "show" at the @samsungmobile lounge at #NYFW. And yes, we took a billion photographs."

And what is left for a 4-year-old fashion designer to do after her show. Get some pampering of course.

"Special treat yesterday after Mayhem was finished with her own "show". She got some high fashion hair courtesy of @johannasalon and @tresseme. I'm guessing my hair-dos will now never be quite enough."

And on her way home, mum Angie says that little Mayhem thought about her next steps, "I think maybe I want to have another fashion show when I grow up".
