For days, Matty J’s social media accounts have remained eerily quiet (not to mention… private).
While winner Lee and his newfound love Georgia Love both wrote posts thanking fans for their love and support after the show’s finale episode on Thursday, Matty stayed mum.
Now, Matty has posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram, and it’s just as beautiful as we ever imagined it to be.
“Credit to these two amazing women who have helped guide me through one of the most unique experiences of my life,” he wrote, alongside a picture of his mum and sister (and yes, baby George).
“I had the most incredible time and I’m so glad I got to share it with some of the best guys I’ve ever come across,” he continued.
The 29-year-old runner-up also wished Lee and Georgia "all the happiness with their future together especially during this difficult time".
"Both of you deserve nothing less."
