Marco Pierre White Jr's mother: "Watching Big Brother is like watching my son die before my eyes."

Now-evicted UK Big Brother contestant and professional headline-stealer Marco Pierre White Junior has left a limitless trail of pain and tears in his wake, and not just surrounding his fiancee.

(If you’re just joining us, welcome. Marco Pierre White Jr is that guy who had those sexually explicit and heated scenes on Big Brother during the week with another housemate. He thought his fiancee gave him a free pass. She says she didn’t. It’s all very awkward.)

But now, the drama seems to be dialling up even more, with Marco’s mother talking to the Daily Mail Online about how his on-screen antics left her “crying herself to sleep” and how she is mourning a son she believes is “lost”.

Watch Laura Carter, admit before the cameras that she and Marco had sex, “basically”. Post continues after video…

Despite her emotional claims and resignation surrounding her son’s tawdry behaviour on the show, Marco’s mother and third wife to esteemed chef Marco Pierre White, Mati Conejero,  remains estranged from her son. She is currently awaiting trial on charges of assaulting Marco and his brother Luciano bon the doorstep of her West London home, although they are charges she denies.

Regardless, it hasn’t stopped Conejero from commenting on her son’s on sceen antics, which saw him last week kissing and stripping off with fellow contestant Laura Carter, and even taking a shower with her in front of the cameras.

“I broke down when I saw that for how lost he is,” she told the website.

“I feel so helpless that I can’t do anything, but how would you feel when your beautiful baby boy ends up a man covered in tattoos, with the word ‘Broken’ across his face.”

Overwhelmingly for Conejero were feelings of sadness for her son who she still affectionately calls Mini.

“In another scene on Big Brother I saw him crying. Even at the time, I thought he was not distressed about Big Brother – but about his life outside.

“I had hoped he might learn some lessons in there about what is and isn’t socially acceptable. But Mini doesn’t know any boundaries and now he’s in a place where he can’t control the situation. One of the girls on the show said he was like a six-year-old boy.”

More than anything, it’s his future that worries her the most, saying she “honestly fear[s] for his future” and that she doesn’t see things improving after Big Brother.

"The strangling thing was horrific to see, although I do think that Big Brother was irresponsible to have shown it. As his mother, I don't approve of Big Brother showing him as a sexual predator. It tears me apart to say it, but I feel there's no hope for him. Watching Big Brother is like watching my son die before my eyes."

Despite the fact the two remain estranged, Conejero says she spends her days and nights worrying about her son and that she "cries [her]self to sleep at night over him."

Upon being evicted last night, Marco Jr admitted her thinks that he and Laura Carter may have "rushed into things", muttering on-screen, "F*** me, it’s going to get worse."

My mother in law watched her adult daughter daughter die unexpectedly from meningococcal this week. Two young men are without their mother, Your headline is tasteless, the content is rubbish. Having sex is one of the greatest pleasures we can engage in on this crazy unpredictable journey called life. Watching your child do private and perhaps unstable things on live tv is not like watching a child die. Who cares where the statement came from, you ran with the headline. Shame

This woman should not be getting air time to speak about her son. She is charged with assaulting him for goodness' sake!
