For most of us, the hardest part about getting your nails done is choosing the colour.
For Emma Jones, it was seeing the final result of her ‘manicure’.
After requesting ’round’ nails, she got into her car after the $60 service to see her manicurist had taken it literally.

Her aunt, who is also a nail technician, shared a picture of Jones' nails on Facebook which has since been shared close to 10,000 times.
"I was completely distracted at the salon because we were talking about my experiences in Turkey as I have just come back from a holiday so I headed out the salon and got in my car and thought what on earth has he done!" Jones told Mamamia.
"I was mortified so I headed to my cousin's mum's salon to have my eyebrows done and she was mortified as she is a nail technician herself."
"That is shocking, no words!" wrote one commenter while another added "Oh my actual god I can't believe they even did that!"
Fortunately, the story has a happy ending.
"I've had a couple of people say they're going to fix them for free by my auntie offered to do them for free too so I'm booked in for Wednesday but she has filed them thinner for the time being until then," Jones says.
We think we'll file these under 'nails we DON'T want'.

I don't know how you could not see and feel what they were doing even if you were talking about holiday experiences. When I get mine done I'm usually talking away yes but generally looking down watching what they're doing and if I don't like something I speak up. Guess her aunt didn't have any appointments to fit her in because it seems like she would go there in the first place?
