What can I say. The headline advised on an IV about Muslim feminism on the show. Where was it ?

I don't doubt that Susan Carland is Muslim. I don't doubt that she is a feminist. But where was the IV about feminism in the Muslim faith ? I did hear the word feminism used once or twice in a very short period, but no depth or detail in the long term. I kind of felt cheated.

The headline was akin to advertising an hilarious and unpredictable IV with some internationally acclaimed comedian only to find that the comedian, although internationally acclaimed didn't make anyone laugh during the appearance. As I would have expected a joke or two from the funster, I expected some detail from Susan. I don't know if there is more detail about the topic of Muslim feminism on the clip as I haven't watched it.

What I'm saying is, if it is advertised as being a part of the show then by all means it should be a part of the show.

I would actually enjoy hearing the views on the subject of feminism in the Muslim faith as told by ordinary women who might attend the Lakemba Mosque rather than by the same one or two faces trotted out by the ABC every time they want a female Muslim on the panel. Whilst people such as Susan and Sumar are extremely eloquent, sometimes it is the voices of the unknown that speak the loudest and with the most honesty.
