Happy Friday! It’s time for one of Mamamia’s oldest traditions Best and Worst.
It’s a place where you can come and share your week with the Mamamia community – talk about your highs and lows and what’s on your mind. It’s like therapy, only free.
I’ll kick us off.
Best: I’m going to be selfish this week and have two bests.
My first? The Emmy’s Red Carpet. I’m a sucker for a lot of celebrities dressed in fancy outfits, and thankfully it’s part of my job to collate all the images into a gallery. It means I get to see all the outfits as they come in and use my fancy fashun terminology. And by fancy I mean ‘Julia Roberts looks like sparkly space woman.’ Take a look:
My second is family. I don’t get to see them very often, but when I do I’m reminded how lucky I am to have them.
Worst: Flu season. I thought I’d gotten through winter without catching one, but on Tuesday I was taken out by a nasty little viral infection. Thankfully I got over the worst of it in two days – but it just goes to show, it’s never too late to catch one. I wish I had read this beforehand.

Best: Had an AMAZING photo shoot with our 2 lovely "real mum models" yesterday. Feeling euphoric that it all came together so well :) It's fantastic to have accomplished something I've wanted to do for so very long.
Worst: So. Very. Tired. Too many late nights getting everything organised for the photoshoot, plus our end of year sale. Boys need more one on one time and I need more me time (and more sleep). We're all going slightly crazy. Definitely some downtime coming soon!!!
Best- I met a boy and like him and he likes me. Is there anything better than having a crush and knowing they have a crush on you too and everything is all flirty and butterflies and kisses and you have to actively try not to hang out all the time. He has treated me well and he also says the nicest things but I am trying to play it cool.
