Ashley is a teenage girl who was born and raised in the stereotypical idealised western family. She lives in a two-storey home, on a nice street (complete with quaint garden and white picket fence), goes to a good school and has grown up wanting for nothing.
But Ashley has never fitted in. She has never felt like she belonged. She has always known we was different.
She knows she will never grow up to live the happy, contented and loving life of her two mums, her two grandpas and her two uncles. Why? Because Ashley is straight.
Welcome to a world imagined by a group of film makers. A world imagined where gay is straight and straight is gay. A world where teenage Ashley is subjected to a torrent of physical and verbal abuse – all because she can’t help but have a crush on a boy at school.

I'm sick of hearing about gay this and lezo that we as hetro's don't keep ramming down the gays necks about our way of life so why the hell do we have to keep hearing this crap all the bloody time, that was one of the many things I loved about Australia everybody knows there are gay people around it just not gone on about all the dam time. THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!!!
I wouldn't really say it's turned on its head. We still need a male and female to continue the human race even with advances in IVF. I think of my hairdresser himself a gay man who agreed to father a baby for 2 friends who are lesbians and now is being denied any access to the child despite previous agreements, the child is being turned against him. These situations would be much more prevalent in this hypothetical world.
