Lily Allen gives up control of her Twitter account after being trolled over her stillbirth.

Lily Allen has been forced to give up control of her Twitter account after trolls cruelly taunted her about the death of her stillborn son.

The 31-year-old’s Twitter account has been taken over by a user named Dennis, who declared he is “going on a hate blocking spree”.

The pop star was targeted online after she posted heartbreaking tweets about losing her baby in 2010.

This week Lily was targeted once again after she shared a tweet about losing her son.

She wrote: “I lay in a hospital bed with my deceased son stuck between my legs halfway out of my body for 10 hours…”

The message prompted an avalanche of nasty messages from trolls who mocked her over the tragic loss of her son.

One wrote: "Not to be a d**k but I very highly doubt it was 10 hours.”

Lily shot back: "You are a d**k. And it was. I was there, you weren’t.”

Several of the lowlife trolls even blamed Lily for her stillborn son's death, with one writing: "Maybe if you didn’t pump your body full of drugs you wouldn’t have miscarried.”

Lily responded: "I didn’t miscarry, I went into early labour and by son died from his chord wrapped round his neck.”

What do you say to someone who’s lost a baby? On This Glorious Mess.

Allen is notoriously honest in her tweets and even opened up about her battle with mental health problems.

"I DO have mental health issues. Bi-polar, postnatal depression, and PTSD, does that make my opinion void?" she tweeted.

After losing their baby in 2010, Lily and her partner Sam Cooper got married and had two daughters Ethel, five, and Marnie, four, before filing for divorce last year.

She later took a swipe at the tolls in a furious tweet, writing: "My timeline is full of the most disgusting, sexist, misogynistic, racist s**t.

"Really, new levels. I'm no masochist so I'll be back x.”

The Hard Out Here singer has now handed over her Twitter account to another user called Dennis, who has been posting gifs online in response to the trolls.

Keep up the good work, Dennis.

If you cannot see the difference between making general statements of a political nature, and making fun of a parent who has lost their child , you are a sociopath or someone who has deeply disturbing issues and I strongly suggest seeing a mental health professional ortaking some time for self reflection. I actually feel bad for them and truly hope these people can get the help they need to be happy and productive members of society.
