Italian politicians from the Five Star Movement (M5S) party in Italy, have staged a protest in their fight to extend anti-discrimination laws to the LGBT community. During a discussing in parliament about an anti-homophobia bill, dozens of members of the party stood and began hugging and kissing members of the same sex.
Others held signs that called for “more rights” for gay people.
The discrimination bill has been passed by the lower house, but will reportedly not pass the Italian Senate.
