Leila McKinnon, Channel Nine journalist and co-host of Weekend Today, has just given birth to a baby girl.
Her husband, Nine CEO David Gyngell, has released a statement saying both mama and baby are “well and happy”.
We’ll bring you photos as soon as the couple decide to share them.
McKinnon and Gyngell have a little boy called Ted, who now has a baby sister.

Why are you calling Leila a TV personality when she is a qualified journalist with a degree from the Queensland University of Technology, who completed her cadetship at WIN in the mid-1990s? When I saw the headline on the front page I expected it to be an ex-reality show contestant.
