Kourtney Kardashian posts a picture about anxiety, the world focuses on her abs.

When a post about anxiety is mistaken for a post about a lovely bum.

The Kardashians have a selfie for every occasion.

Which is why it’s not a surprise that Kourtney Kardashian has taken to her Instagram to share a picture of her dealing with her anxiety.

Here it is:

Working out is one of the only things that helps when I’m feeling anxious. ????????

Exercise is a great coping mechanism for anxiety sufferers. And with the entire Kardashian family in Las Vegas at the bedside of former family member Lamar Odom as he recovers from his much-publicised collapse at a Nevada brothel, there is plenty of need for anxiety soothing.

But here’s the thing: No-one thinks this post is about anxiety. Almost everyone thinks this post is about how excellent Kourtney Kardashian looks in her gym gear.

Few focused on her using exercise to deal with the separation from her partner and the health issues of her ex brother-in-law, but definitely noted that she has a very lovely figure.

Comments ranged from “girl your body is popppppin” to… some slightly less appropriate ones.

Over on her Twitter page where she also shared the picture, the comments weren’t much better.

It’s not the first time the Kardashian family has put up an image that commenters have pounced on for the wrong reasons.

Kim Kardashian recently posted a photo with sister Kourtney’s son Mason amidst the separation of his parents, Kourtney and Scott.

All commenters could talk about though, were 5-year-old Mason’s eyebrows.

People, can’t you see that our Kardashian sisters are trying to tackle real topics through their Instagram feed?

Must you always be so shallow? Cough.

Those polished floorboards were awesome. I think it might be jarrah or redwood, but it was hard to tell with the camera angle.

I did have an in-depth comment about anxiety to share, but then I saw the photo and now all I can think about is booty.
