Kim Kardashian just revealed what she eats every day. And it makes us so sad.

 

When all is said and done, Kim Kardashian has an admirable physique.

Yes, parts are rumoured to have some surgical help, but all in all she is in phenomenal shape. And now we know why.

In the latest issue of People magazine, Kardashian has revealed what her day on a plate generally looks like. And honestly, it’s making us a bit sad.

For breakfast you have the option of:

  • Scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and smoked Gouda.
  • Green yoghurt.
  • Chicken chorizo and cauliflower sauté.
  • Hatch green chili cheese and egg bake.
  • Honeydew melon.

Looking for a snack? Try:

  • Atkins nut bars.
  • A carrot.
  • Vanilla coffee frappe.
  • Half a small apple.
  • 50g cheddar cheese.

Mmmm yes because when half of a normal-sized apple isn't enough, switch to an even smaller one.

If you're not already satisfied enough from the delicious, nutricious and filling food you encountered in the morning, you can try these for lunch:

  • A turkey burger sans bun.
  • Grilled lime chicken over spinach salad.
  • Zucchini noodles with spicy chicken sausage.

And finally, for dinner we'll have:

  • Halibut with sautéed green beans.
  • Lemon rosemary chicken with asparagus and wild rice.
  • Grilled chicken with cauliflower mac and cheese.

Yes, this all looks healthy and delicious (except the green yoghurt which sounds like some kind of torture device), and yes sticking to this 1,700 calorie a day diet is what helps tabloids shift stock with headlines like 'Here's how Kim Kardashian dropped 30kgs after giving birth just three months ago!!'.

But it is no way to live. Where is the sneaky burger and fries or the greasy kebab you get when you're coming home after a big night. Or the dessert you treat yourself with after a long and busy day at work? Sure, these things shouldn't be in your diet every single day but having them in moderation won't do any harm.

Kardashian recently showed the fruits of her labour in a photoshoot with GQ to celebrate their 10th-anniversary Love, Sex, and Madness issue. Her body is fire and nothing is left to the imagination.

Kim, here's out parting words of advice: Girl, go get yourself a hamburger. With fries.

Why does this make you sad?? It sounds like a healthy diet and if you don't have to eat it - what's the problem?

Ugh, I'm so over these types of articles that criticise healthy eating and always bang on about 'just go eat a burger and fries'. Why are healthy diets such as hers always written about in a negative manner? This nation and the USA have an obesity epidemic so healthy eating should be applauded not condemned! Besides, this is probably her average day on a plate. She didn't say she never eats burgers and fries. I'm in no way a fan of KK's (especially when she does photoshoots like this; even pretending to smoke a cigarette is uncool especially when you have very impressionable young fans) but a lot of people could benefit from eating a diet such as hers.
