I completely agree with Ophelia and NJ: Rudd can be an orator when he has to (i.e. the great, but long overdue apology).
But I can't understand why people found this clip so funny? Is it really that amusing that our Prime Minister is literate?
I'd personally much rather have Rudd than say, someone like Bush!
