My perfect Sunday - Kerrie Hess

Kerrie Hess is one of Australia’s most respected fashion illustrators. In her 15 year career, Brisbane-born Kerrie has lived in London, Paris and Hong Kong and worked with some of the world’s top fashion houses, including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin and Kate Spade New York.

Kerrie’s distinctive, stunning artworks have appeared in department store windows and on large-scale billboards, textiles, bags, cushions and most recently, the 15th anniversary cover of Harper’s Bazaar for Colette Dinnigan:

So how does someone whose job involves creating incredibly beautiful things spend their days off? We asked Kerrie to talk us through her perfect Sunday - and it's exactly as elegant as you'd expect.

1. What are you eating?

Croissants, eggs and coffee at French Twist Cafe in Bulimba.

2. What are you listening to?

'Hang on Little Tomato' by Pink Martini.

3. What are you doing?

Reading Grace by Grace Coddington in between a pilates class, painting canvases and a run in the park with my son Marcel.

4. What are you wearing?

Michael Klein Paris silk top from boutique French Rendez-vous and Sambag Sydney leather leggings.

5. What did you do last night?

Went out for a sneaky chai latte and strawberry and cream crepes in Bulimba.
