Kendra Wilkinson wants to tattoo her son's birth date. Can't remember what it is.

Remembering dates is not everybody’s strong point. Especially not Kendra Wilkinson’s.

In an upcoming episode of Kendra on Top, the former Playboy Bunny takes a trip to the tattoo parlour in our very own city of Melbourne.

Kendra explains she wants a tattoo of an infinity symbol, because it represents love and strength. She also wants to pay tribute to her kids.

"I'm getting an infinity sign and adding in my kids' birthdays," she says. The 30-year-old star and her husband Hank Baskett have two children together; six-year old Hank Jr, and a daughter Alijah who is nearly two.

"I have two kids. And I do like dates — dates represent a lot for me," she tells tattoo artist Karlo. "For instance, like 12..."

Kendra goes silent.

"Wait, when was my son's birthday?"

She soon remembers that Hank Jr was born on the 11th of December 2009. Alijah's birthday is the 16th of May.

But when Karlo asks Kendra to write down the dates for him, she hesitates. Not something you want to be doing when someone is about to permanently mark your body.

So she calls her husband (in the middle of the night. Yay for time difference) to confirm the dates. She is correct, thank goodness.

Crisis averted. Just.

I saw a lady with a big tattoo of her two children's names and birth dates on her back, and I thought to myself: If an abductor wanted to pretend to be a friend of the family to get to those children, they now have a very good starting point. "Hello Sally Anne. I am a good friend of your mummy and she has told me all about you. Did you have a party for your 5th birthday? Your mummy asked me to take you to..." If you want to get your kids details tattooed, pick somewhere discrete for your own benefit.

I actually have a problem saying my son's DOB. I am so used to saying mine - 6/10/80 for banks, gas company, family tax office etc that when i say his - 08/10/08 i get tongue tied - then the anxiety of people thinking i don't know his DOB makes it even worse. The day a human was painfully torn from my body however, does tend to be burned in one's brain. For the most part.
