“It was burning my face and no one even cared. NO ONE EVEN CARED!”
Things did not go well for reality TV star Keira Maguire as she entered the jungle last night on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!
The former The Bachelor contestant (you might remember her from the time she yelled “bed bed bed” repeatedly for no reason), was introduced to the the South African jungle on last night’s episode of I’m a Celebrity… Get me Out of Here! as an intruder.
Her initiation was the “Grim Gallery Tucker Trial”, which involves sticking your head into a perspex box filled with something… disgusting.
First it was rats, which did not go well and Maguire ended up sobbing in the bushes.
You'd think that after rats, she could handle anything.
But it was a box of chillies and chilli sauce that sent her over the edge. The chilli was, apparently, painful.
"It's like I'm like dying. I’m not even over-exaggerating this situation," she said, crouched over, in between tears. "You guys don't even know what if feels like. No one needs to talk right now please. No one needs to talk right now."
The medics (who were definitely not "talking-right-now") were trying to help. Host of the show Dr Chris Brown was also there, beret in place, tying to reason with her. "Everyone else has done it," he said.
"I have a very strong pain threshold," Maguire continued. "That was so bad, worse than any treatment I’ve ever had on my face and that is f**king painful."
Dr Brown's co-host, Julia Morris, was not so patient. When Maguire cried "Is this really what it's going to be like the whole time?" Morris said simply, "yes ma'am, it is".

Head of entertainment and factual programming Stephen Tate told News.com.au the entire "Grim Gallery Tucker Trial" had been tested before hand and it was completely safe.
“We had already tested this trial several times," he said. "The chilli sauce is commercially available here in South Africa in the supermarket. While it was very unpleasant it was also totally harmless to Keira’s health.”
As Maguire was doubled over and screaming and crying and complaining of dying, fellow contestant AFL legend Dane Swan watched on. He'd just submerged his face into a perspex box of ants during the same challenge, and had bites inside his nose and mouth.
Finally, there was a parting jab from Dr Brown. He said; "Keira? Welcome to the jungle."
Stare. of. Death.
Even if it was harmless, we can see why Keira was so agitated by the rats and the chilli... It's rats and chilli. Ouch!

I cant believe how cruel Human beings can be with one another this woman obviously has some demons she is dealing with from her very abusive upbringing, she doesnt deal with things very well an instead of compassion they laugh an ridicule her,,,,,,, shame on the lot of you..........I used to have a lot of respect for Julia morris, that flew out the window as i watched her reaction to this woman,, an yes i get that she is annoying and her personality if not very "endearing" but sheesh none of us are perfect are we JULIAAAAAAA,

You dont know if you are going to handle something till you are actually in it,, not before, you may think you will be ok but that is a completely different thing ,,,,, :(
