We were worried there for a second as the baby was “nameless” for almost three months. (Just kidding.)

Knightley welcomed a baby girl in May this year. But she chose to keep the baby's name a secret.

However, she's done her first post-baby interview with ELLE where she finally tells us the name her and husband James Righton decided to go with.

Edie.

According to Nameberry, the name Edie is a shortened version of Edith - a very English name. It was popular in the 1960's and "due for a comeback". Very on trend Knightley.

Knightley also spoke about being a first time mum in the mag.

When it comes to sleep... er... or the lack of... "It's not pleasant. I never thought that I could actually do it for the amount of time that I've done it."

She also spoke about her relationship with her post-baby body.

"As a woman, you hate certain parts of your body. You go through those periods where you look in the mirror and you think, 'Oh, if only I had different legs or arms or whatever.' [But then] you go through pregnancy and labor and then feeding the kid and you go, 'Wow, my body is totally amazing, and I'm never going to not like it again, because it did this, and this is f***ing extraordinary."'

Knightley and Righton married two years ago and Edie is their first child.
