FLUFF: Karl Stefanovic's new job.

We thought he was leaving Today, but now it seems that Karl Stefanovic will be on our televisions more than ever before.

The 39-year-old will be picking up an extra shift at 4pm on Saturdays to host a new music show for The Nine Network’s second channel, Go!, called Hargrave Lane.

Nine are keeping the show – a collaboration with Sony Music – completely under wraps. For the past week an Instagram account has been sending out cryptic messages such as “Either @kingsofleon or Ron Burgandy is going to be on #HargraveLane… You guess!”, but no conclusive information has been released.

In the pursuit of high quality investigatory fluff journalism, here’s what three minutes of Googling brought up:

– Hargrave Lane is the name of a street in Paddington, in inner city Sydney.

– In December 2013, Sony Music released EPs by former Australia’s Got Talent finalist Taylor Henderson and former X Factor finalists Nathaniel Willemse and Samantha Jade as ‘Hargrave Lane Sessions’.

– And… nup. Nothing.

We couldn’t find anything else. Seriously, they’ve been really tight-lipped about whatever this is.

The mystery will presumably be revealed this Saturday.

Just what we need...more Karl on the TV. I wish he'd leave our screens forever! I pretty much stopped breakfast tv once I had to choose between him and Kochie. Both self important and not funny IMO!!

I really like Karl. As for Kochie I really don't mind him, though I don't really have a strong opinion on him either way.
I think Karl seems like a really nice, open minded, and funny guy.
I also love that Andrew guy (forgot his name) who does 7 on the weekends, he is a total nutjob, but in a good way! He is extremely quick witted and a very unconventional brain and hilarious, but also comes across as a genuinely nice guy.
Oh well each to their own I guess!
