If it’s true – which it kind of almost definitely is – we are very sad to report that Jennifer Lawrence has broken things off with her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult.
According to E! Online, the pair, who met on the set of X-Men, have called it quits after three years. A source described the split as “very amicable”.
Now, we should probably disclose that this has not been confirmed by either of the pair’s reps. But, throughout their entire relationship their reps have basically been silent on all of their romantic dealings.
And, to be honest, that’s kind of why we’re sad. We’re sad because it was nice to have the most famous woman in the world dating someone who no-one could really remember the name of, and not really going out of her way to talk about it. It was nice to have a celebrity couple who valued their privacy.
It was nice that Mystique and Hank McCoy were getting it on.
Speaking in the June issue of Marie Claire, J-Law briefly explained their very casual relationship.
“When we’re busy, we agree to mutually ignore each other. Not completely, but neither of us gets mad when the other doesn’t text back or call,” the 23-year-old actress said. “Life’s super busy. Obviously you know what they’re doing, and you trust them.”
Anyways, we’re just going to sit here and process our feelings.
