At last night’s Myer Spring 2016 Fashion Launch, former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins stunned on the catwalk in a black, sequinned Alex Perry dress.
But the designer dress – worth $1,400 – looked eerily familiar. In fact, another unlikely Instagram star had worn the exact same outfit just three days earlier.
Kat Mehajer – the younger sister of controversial figure Salim – wore the designer dress on the weekend as part of her lavish wedding celebrations.
The dress, from Australian designer Alex Perry's Le Chat Noir collection, was one of three different gowns Mehajer wore to her wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday.
As the face of Myer, Jen wore five different outfits on the catwalk at last night's launch, including a nautical-themed bikini she designer herself for her label, COZI.
The Mehajer name has made headlines for all the wrong reasons this week, when footage of former Auburn deputy mayor Salim hurling abuse at his estranged wife was leaked online.
Just two months ago, pictures of Kat's lavish bridal shower emerged online, showing off towers of macaroons, pink chocolate covered strawberries and multiple outfit changes.
