Jen Selter’s bum is famous. Instagram famous, which is like, way better than regular famous according to anyone under 20 these days.

Why is Jen Selter’s bum famous? That’s not entirely clear. The New York Post did a profile on Jen Selter’s bum a few days ago, and from what we can decipher, Jen Selter’s bum is famous for being a big bum.

It would seem that Kim Kardashian‘s transition into crazy-town-Kanye-fame has left a bum-fame position vacant. And Jen Selter’s bum wants that position.

Jen’s bum has a whopping 1.5 million Instagram followers, and counting. The New York Post profile only added to the frenzy. The bum has endorsement deals with a water company and a vitamin supplement company. A belfie (that’s bum selfie, duh) on it’s profile can garner 100, 000 likes.

So how did a random 20-year-old bum from New York find massive internet fame? Jen Selter’s bum let Jen Selter’s face do the explaining. Apparently, she skipped college and was working a few odd jobs while working out. She noticed her bum getting huge, so she starting posting belfies on Instagram. Nek minnit, bum fame. It’s that easy, kids.

But why just the lower half? Well, it looks like Jen Selter’s bum doesn’t really let Jen Selter post photos of her face:

“I mainly do body selfies. Not that I care what people think, but they don’t care. They don’t want to see my face,” Jen Selter’s face said.

Not that she’s complaining.

Jen Selter’s bum is making Jen Selter a lot of money: “A lot more money than a graduate would be making,” she says. As well as her endorsement deals, Jen Selter’s bum has its own range of tights in the works. So, you know, big things are happening.

But whatever you do, don’t lump Jen Selter’s bum in with all the other over-sexed bums. Jen Selter’s face insists that Jen Selter’s bum is a classy bum. It’s all about working out, you see, rather than sexiness:

“Yes, it can be showy, but I’ve seen a lot worse. And if it motivates people to get their butts up and go to the gym, why not? Your butt is your biggest muscle. There are so many ways to shape it and firm it up.”

So there you go. If you want to make your bum famous, don’t get an education, instead hit the gym and set up an Instagram account. Before long, your bum may have more followers than Michelle Obama. (Seriously – Jen Selter’s bum has more followers than Michelle Obama.)
