Oprah – the world’s most famous face with the world’s most famous name – posted a photo on Instagram on Friday with a basket full of what she thought was dill.
“What to do with all this Dill?” she wrote. Except, erm… it wasn’t dill.
Enter UK celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, who wasn’t about to let the former TV host get away with her reckless case of mistaken plant identity.
“That’s fennel mate, I love it roasted, slowly fry it until sweet, very finely lice it for salads with great olive oil, salt and pepper. It’s delicious, enjoy,” he wrote.
Ah, Oprah. What a dill.
