Yikes. High cut swimmers are back. And so is the bush.

Ok ladies, we have a decision to make. Are you ready?

Bush or Bikini?

And we’re not talking about a sea-change here.

High-cut cossies that barely fit your hoo-ha are walking the runways for Miami’s 2014 Swim Fashion Week, while celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz are telling us that the bush is back, and back in a big way.

Gwyneth Paltrow admitted rocking a 70s “vibe down there” on the Ellen DeGeneres show and Cameron Diaz released, The Body Book: Feed, Move, Understand And Love Your Amazing Body, entailing a section called “Praise Of Pubes.” The book has everyone exciteded about pubic hair. And if you’re a Girls fan: Season 3 Episode 3 – you know what I’m talking about.

It has us asking this morning, just how can we have it all?

We thought high-cut cossies were over the day that Pamela Anderson hung up her red Baywatch swimsuit, but sadly, no.

As all 80s fashions before it, this trend has done a complete 180 and is likely to be hitting swimsuit racks in the coming months. CAN’T WAIT.

Best-selling US author Kelly Oxford and Aussie fashionista Ozlem Esen are already on it, posting photos of themselves in the high-waisters. And as you can see, there’s really no scope for hair down there. At all.

But it seems that American Apparel has the answer. Mannequins in their New York’s store have exhibited the two trends together, and it’s – well…  I have no words.

So, it seems that we CAN have it all.

But um, you go first.

What do you think? High-cut swimmers: yes or no? And bush or Brazilian, or something in between?

I am curvy. I will admit to following fashion trends, sometimes to the point where they potentially dont suit my body (but those baggy harem pants are like wearing pyjamas. PYJAMAS! I just cant say no) but I think when it comes to bathers you have to draw the line and shop for your shape. I buy mostly 50s style bathers. High waisted, good bum coverage, and cute long line bikini tops. They aren't always "in style" but thats why we have internet shopping. You can find just about anything you want on there.
