OK, OK, we’re all sad that Harry Potter the franchise is finally coming to an end.
We read the last book, and by now most of us may have watched the final movie. We’ll give pause for the tears here.

I am out of the loop! Everyone is in love with this series! I have not read the books nor have I seen any of the movies. I guess I will HAVE to see it. Surely I am not the only one?!
I was bereft when I finished the 7th book and felt like friends had moved away and I wasn't going to see them anymore.
But I'm getting to relive the magic by reading them to my 6 year old daughter who is in love with them. We're watching the movies one by one as we finish the books. Every night we read half a chapter (slow going!). She gets excited in the climactic scenes and aghast at the plot twists. She interrupts me every 10 minutes with "I have a feory..."
And her theories are always very feasible.
We're up to Order of the Phoenix (4th) and her latest theory is that Voldemort is touching his arm scar with his wand and making a spell that lets him read Harry mind, which is why Harry's scar hurts. Which means Harry could point his wand at his scar and say "Avadakedavra" and it would kill Voldemort because the scar protects Harry from the curse because it was caused by the curse.
Clever little thing!
She also thought Harry and Ron should have gone with each other to the Tri Wizard ball instead of bothering trying to find dates.
"Then they could be gay wizards!"
Gay wizards! Yes!
If it was good enough for Dumbledore...
