Group therapy: the most important wedding advice

If you are planning a wedding at the moment it is likely that you are just scanning this post looking for your breath or the number of a photographer.

If your wedding planning is in the past, you’re lucky but you probably have some great advice for Mamamia reader Emily who writes:

“My beautiful sister has just become engaged and the wedding plans are just beginning.

Having consumed far too many Hollywood movies over the years and read far too much about the royal wedding, I thought by now I’d be better prepared to help. I’ve discovered however that’s not the case.

So I want to know from the Mamamia community:

Is there one thing they wish a sister or friend had said or done in between the proposal and “I do’s” that might have calmed or carried them through?”
