What about a heads-up, mothers?

It is actually possible to have a dream pregnancy. Sadly it appears Jamila and some other commenters are suffering not so pleasant experiences but having been pregnant 4 times, I can honestly say I never experienced any of these. No morning sickness at all, no darkened nipples, no flatulence and I will say my hair and skin have never been better than while I was pregnant. I did however have some heart burn with my last pregnancy and in the last month of each I had slightly sore hips. Otherwise I loved, loved, loved being pregnant and it's important to note that it's not always bad! Pregnancy can be wonderful.

I agree wholeheartedly with the flatulence... It's not pleasant... And can actually be pretty painful...

I'm week 20 with my first child and still have morning sickness.. I have never vomited so much in my life....Thank god for medication - I would otherwise be lying in the foetal position crying somewhere... And tiredness urgh..... I am definitely not experiencing this joyful second trimester thing....

Constipation... It is not friendly....

I have so many remedies and medications (approved by my obstetrician) that I never would have thought I'd need in my life - Movicol for constipation, De-gas for the flatulence... TUMS for the (very occasional, thank god!) heartburn....

I still haven't put on weight yet, but nothing fits anywhere anymore! I'm loving the colder weather and the fact that I can wear trackies pretty much all the time!
