Gordon Ramsay is known for his tough love attitude in the kitchen and it seems like he takes the same approach to parenting.
The celebrity chef won’t be leaving his multi-million dollar fortune to his four children. He also doesn’t allow Matilda, 15, Jack and Holly, 17, and Megan, 18, to eat in his restaurants or fly first class with him.
The 50-year-old told The Telegraph that money’s not his number one objective and “that’s reflected in the way [my] kids are brought up”.
“Last time we went to Royal Hospital Road [Ramsay’s three Michelin starred flagship restaurant in Chelsea] was for Megan’s 16th birthday, and that was the first time we’ve ever eaten there with the kids. They have served the Chelsea pensioners there for Christmas lunch, but not eaten there,” he said.
Ramsay believes his children need to work hard and earn their own money before they reap the rewards of being wealthy.
“They don’t sit with us in first class. They haven’t worked anywhere near hard enough to afford that. At that age, at that size, you’re telling me they need to sit in first class? No, they do not. We’re really strict on that,” he explained.
Ramsay and his wife Tana, have agreed that the kids will be given a 25 per cent deposit on a flat, but that’s all.
And it seems like the Ramsay kids have flourished under this strict parenting regime, they all already earn their own money and have been brought up helping out charities.

The oldest daughter Megan is studying at uni and gets a £100 (around $165 AUD) a week allowance, while the younger kids receive only £50 (about $82 bucks) per week. And they all have to pay for their own phones and travel expenses.
Ramsay attributes his parenting style to growing up rough and he wants his children to “be grateful, not spoilt”.

Tough upbringing? I don't think so, many Uni students would love to get $165 a week, that's more than most Aussie students get for Austudy, doesn't sound that tough to me.
Pretty sure Matilda Ramsay has her own cooking TV show on ABC. Its called 'Matilda Ramsay and the Ramsay bunch.' His kids still have connections. She'll be flying first class soon!
