If you, like most of the rest of the world, spent your entire weekend binge-watching Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, you’ve probably already scoured the net to find out all the behind-the-scenes goss.
What you might have missed, though, in your excitement to devour those very special, four 90-minute episodes is that one actor made an appearance as two entirely separate characters.
Sneaky, right?
Meet Rose Abdoo, who played Emily Gilmore’s maid Berta in the revival season:

But Rose also popped up as Stars Hollow's mechanic, Gypsy.

It fits with Gilmore Girls tradition during it's original run.
** Originally Kirk was a handyman called Mick, then swan delivery man at the inn, and then he was Kirk who seemed new in town, before they switched his story to locals knowing him since he was 2yo.
** Then there was Jess' dad's partner Sasha and April's mum Anna Nardini who were both played by Sherilyn Fenn as a blonde then brunette.
** The inn harpist in season one got re-cast as Miss Celine the turban-wearing designer / seamstress for Emily.
** Richard’s mother, original Lorelai “Trix” Gilmore, also played Gilmore cousin Marilyn who had her eye on some kind of family heirloom. She played both roles across a range of episodes but looking rather different with wigs, costumes etc.
** One of Logan's sisters tarty bridesmaids also played the blonde debutante Libby in season 1.
There were a few other featured extras playing two less memorable double roles throughout, such as Stars Hollow High Students etc.
I picked it. You could easily tell it was the same actress that played Gypsy if you'd watched the show before.
