Fluff: Is this the most surprising baby news of the year?

Is this the most surprising baby news of the year? We didn’t even think this fashion designer was hoping to be a father but now it’s been announced that Tom Ford is now exactly that. Ford, 51, has been in a relationship with partner Richard Buckley, 64, for the last 25 years and their son, Alexander, was born via surrogate in Los Angeles.

Flick through our gallery of other celebrities who have recently welcomed babies:

Nudie photoshoot alert! In one of the more interesting photo shoots we’ve seen this year, Kate Moss has gotten naked for LOVE magazine. But not even fully naked. In some kind of tribute to nuns, the model has got a Prada jumper over her head, while the rest of her bare chest is covered just by a chiffon veil. Odd. Take a look:

On a far less happy note – Adele has been trolled incessantly on Twitter after announcing the birth of her baby son yesterday. What a nice way to welcome a baby to the world, right? NOT.

This from The Telegraph:

The most controversial, from a user tweeting under the name @PerfFemale, read: “Aw Adele gave birth to a baby. Is it fat and handicapped lol? Just murder it already lol.”

The @PerfFemale account appears to have been deleted since the abusive post, prompting other Twitter users to label internet trolls “cowards”.

Other disturbing tweets over the weekend included: “Adele was pregnant? I thought she was fat,” which was retweeted hundreds of times.

Not okay. Not okay at all.

Check out our gallery of the stunning Adele:

Jodi Gordon’s wedding dress has been revealed. This week’s Woman’s Dayhas pictures of the 27-year-old’s wedding to rugby league player Braith Anasta, which took place in Bali. Jodi wore a custom made J’Aton gown, which apparently took a team of five people 6 months and 300 hours to create. Seriously, you could have built a small apartment block with that kind of people-power.

This from The Daily Telegraph:

“It was not Jodi doing ‘red carpet’ so we didn’t want loud colours and drama as it had to be soft romantic and significant and that is what we love about the dress, that it had no bling factor to it,” the designers told Hoyer.

“The dress for us had to have a sense of simplicity without just being plain and boring as Jodi did all along want a dream dress and not just something she could buy off the rack.”

The dress is estimated to have cost around $50,000 and includes 80-year-old vintage lace from Paris, silk muslin and organdie with Italian tulle. Swarovski and vintage beads that were “very old and rare finds” were also used.

Flick through our gallery of other celebrities who have recently tied the knot:

Pippa Middleton has finally spoken out about her famous bum. In an extract from her new party planning book “Celebrate: A Year of British Festivities for Families And Friends”, Pippa has addressed the attention her lower half received after wearing a tight-fitting dress to her sister Kate Middleton’s wedding to Prince William last year.

She writes: “It is a bit startling to achieve global recognition before the age of 30 on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom. One day I might be able to make sense of this. In the meantime I think it’s fair to say that it has its upside and its downside.”

She continues: “I certainly have opportunities many can only dream of – but in most ways, I’m a typical girl in her 20s trying to forge a career and represent herself in what can sometimes seem rather strange circumstances. I am by nature an optimist, so I tend to concentrate on the advantages.”

Take a flick through our gallery of the famous Pippa (and her even more famous bum):

In other Pippa-Middleton-bum news (it’s hard to believe that sentence has really been writtern…), Kylie Minogue revealed that she bonded with Pippa at the Diamond Jubilee concert in June over their bums. She told The Daily Star: “I met Pippa at the Jubilee just after I’d been on Alan Carr and joked about having a better bottom then her. We said ‘hi’, she was wearing one of my sister’s Project D dresses, which was lovely, we were chatting and then I just blurted out about our bums. She was very gracious and said I would win hands down but I’m not too sure about that.”

Our inner princess-wannabes are just a tiny bit obsessed with these drawings. Harrods have enlisted a team of ten designers – including Versace, Valentino, and Oscar de la Renta – to reimagine the iconic Disney Princess dresses for their festive windows, which will be unveiled at their Knightsbridge store on November 1. While we can’t see the display just yet, we’ve still got the sketches – and they are, of course, amazing. Take a look – we’ve added the original Disney Princesses in so that you can compare and contrast :

Tom Ford and his partner having a baby at 51 & 64? What? Why the hell would they do that and why wait until now? Really don't understand.

Why would someone say that about Adele's baby? Really don't understand.

Jodi's dress looks strikingly similar to Rebecca Judd's. (I know - same designer.) $50,000 for a dress that's almost exactly the same as another celebrity? Really don't understand.
