1. Last Friday, Mamamia’s former Beauty Editor, 32-year-old Zoe Foster and one of Australia’s best loved comedians, 30-year-old Hamish Blake announced on Twitter that they’d run away to have a secret wedding. Cue: Moaning and tears from thousands of disappointed fans of Zoe’s fabulous style.
We have some good news. The wedding may have been secret but the photos are not.
This week’s issue of Woman’s Day has the wedding album, featuring Zoe in a custom-made Steven Khalil gown and Givenchy heels and Hamish in a Patrick Johnson suit. The couple had only 22 guests at the intimate wedding ceremony, which was held at Wolgan Valley in NSW, just north of the Blue Mountains.
They had a Snickers cake. The bridesmaids wore apricot Bianca Spender dresses. They both cried.
The couple announced their engagement in January when Hamish tweeted: “Highlight of 2011? Proposing to @zotheysay! Couldn’t be happier. She LOVED the rock. And said yes by the way.”

3. In other happy news, former American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson has announced her engagement over the weekend. The 30-year-old singer has been dating talent manager Brandon Blackstock for ten months, and he popped the question last Friday.
Clarkson posted a picture of the ring online, writing: “It’s a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Jonathan Arndt! They did an amazing job! I can’t wait to make Brandon’s ring with Jonathon as well!”

5. Pippa Middleton might be saying goodbye to her career as a party planner. An American TV network is poised to offer the 29-year-old sister of Duchess Kate Middleton a $600,000 contract to become a Royal correspondent on The Today Show.
Apparently Pippa wouldn’t have to focus on anything intimate, such as her sister’s pregnancy – she would simply be covering events such as the Chelsea Flower Show or discussing topics such as the opening up of Buckingham Palace.
And given she could start every sentence with the phrase ‘sources close to the royal couple have reliably informed me’ and be referring to herself in the third person – we think Pippa might be rather perfect for this gig.

– Samaire Armstrong has given birth to a baby boy. You’ll probably recognise this 32-year-old actress from The Mentalist and The OC. Samaire announced the news on her Facebook page on Sunday night, writing: “Thank you sooo much for all the love!! Will post pictures after a little rest,” Armstrong wrote. “We’re all doing wonderfully. It was an amazing experience and we couldn’t be more thrilled with our new arrival. :)) xoxoxoxoxo!!!!!”
– Tattoo artist Kat Von D is engaged to her DJ boyfriend, Deadmau5 (real name Joel Thomas Zimmerman). Deadmau5 proposed on Twitter, saying: “I can’t wait for Christmas so…. Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” and posting a picture of the ring – a diamond flanked by two skulls. And guess what? She said yes. Also on Twitter.

The newspaper said the couple chose the venue where they had their first couple holiday together three years ago - but Hamish was still with his long term gf Anna then. Did Hamish or Zoe actually say that in Women's Day, or did the newspaper misquote? I'd hate to think they just accidentally announced that they had an affair!!
Love hearing of celebs having low key weddings without all the fluff and just inviting those close to them...not just inviting people for the sake of it and publicity. All the best!! p.s i think anyone would sell their pics if they had the chance :P
