Peggy Swan Saville was born on Tuesday morning at 9:15am via caesarean. Take a peek at the photo Chrissie sent in to Mix 101.1.
Chrissie and her husband Chris, who she calls “the Chippie” already have two sons – Leo and Kit.
The announcement was made on Channel 10′s The Project tonight and the news was shared quickly via social media.

5. Cheeky Rebel Wilson gets Channing Tatum to fish around in her bra
You have got to love that Rebel Wilson is taking her cheeky Australian sensibility to Hollywood. The 27-year-old actress/comedian is hosting the MTV Movie Awards in April and has starred in a trailer with Channing Tatum to promote the ceremony.

7. And in news that will make you feel old, Disney star Hayden Panettiere is engaged.US Weekly are reporting that Hayden Panettiere and Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko are engaged and planning a summer wedding.
The 23-year-old actress and heavyweight Klitschko, 37,reportedly rekindled their romance in January, just under two years after they split.
A no doubt reliable insider has told the magazine: “Very few people know, and she isn’t wearing her ring publicly yet”.
Which I dunno, could also mean that she is not engaged at all.

Katie Price aka Jordan has celebrated the fifth anniversary of her KP Equestrian range by wearing an outfit not dissimilar to a My Little Pony costume.

Seems a little odd that it was annonced Peggy was born via caesarean. Why do we need to know this private detail? It's the business only of her, her husband and her doctoors / medical team.
Why not? Every other detail of her life is forced on us though every Australian news service.
I thought the same thing myself, but we actually did the same when my son was born. Just seemed relevant at the time to let people know he was born via caesarean, because that wasn't the plan and people would inevitably ask about the birth at some point.
From what I understand though, all of Chrissie's births have been planned caesareans, so no one would've been surprised in this case. I don't really know why this detail is relevant to the wider public though...
I guess it is that in general that bothers me: 'people would inevitably ask about the birth at some point.' How can anyone feel that's their business to ask of anyone? It's no one's business to know what happens with someone's private regions, ever! Except mum, dad & doctors. It implies judgement. Better enquiries of a new mum are: How are you? Are you doing well? Do you need anything? Can I get you anything?
Here's what matters when a baby arrives (IMO): gender, health, name, birth date and place. The weight? Only a maybe. But not really that either.
A good example of a birth announcement is: Jane and Mark are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their healthy baby daughter Amelia Rose on 23rd of March at Jessie Mac (Monash), weighting 3.3 kilograms. A little sister for Ben.
Planned caesarians, openly bottle feeding, smoking while pregnant and child obesity scandals? No wonder she gets torn new ones on the "mummy" forums. Anything less then singing kum bah yah whilst labouring on a bed of organic vegetables is seen as a sin in some circles.
