The ceremony – or official red carpet – hasn’t even started yet, but Sunrise host Edwina Bartholomew has already earned our ‘Best On Ground’ for this year’s Academy Awards.
Reporting from the red carpet for the morning show, Bartholomew looks like she should be on the other side of the reporting mic.
We can’t officially say, but it appears the salsa dancing lady emoji and/or the red carpet could have been the main inspiration for her scarlet off-the-shoulder Cappellazzo Couture gown.
“I feel like a movie star. Thank you @cappellazzocouture for this amazing dress for the Oscars xx,” Bartholomew captioned the photo.

The Melbourne-based couture label is also a favourite The Today Show’s Lisa Wilkinson.
While the dress is stunning, it’s the 33 year old’s accessories that have really got us talking, specifically her earrings.
Notice they don’t quite look the same?
At first glance it looks like a mistake, but trust us – it’s very, very intentional.
Mismatched earrings have been popping up now and again over the last five years or so, but for 2017 they’re back and bigger than ever.
Taking dressing in the dark to a whole new level, the only rule when it comes to wearing them? There are no rules. The more mismatched the better.
You can mix up pairs you already own, or shop the growing selection of already “odd” pairs in stores.
This is one fashion “mistake” we’re very much a fan of.

Uhmmmm....they look they same? Although a close up shot of both ear would be helpful to determine if they are the same or if they are indeed mismatched.
So after watching a vid of Edwina, the earrings are matching gold "twists" bit like bow-tie pasta that's been twisted.
