Kanye West admits he sabotaged Kim Kardashian's previous marriage.

Let’s cast our minds back to 2011.

It was a glorious year for celebrities. Charlie Sheen had his epic meltdown, Brad Pitt said he ‘never lived an interesting life’ with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, and Kate Middleton married her Prince Charming in the ‘wedding of the century’.

And, of course, not to be overshadowed by the Duchess, Kim Kardashian married her basketballer beau Kris Humphries. We all know how that ended.

In the teaser for the latest and final episode of Khloe Kardashian's cancelled talk show Kocktails With Khloe, Kanye admits he only bought a mobile phone when he heard Kim was engaged to Humphries.

"I got a phone because somebody decided they wanted to marry Kris Humphries," the 38-year-old Gold Digger rapper told the table of Kim, Khloe and married stars Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.

"I wasn't up to anything, and I looked on the internet and there was Kim with some extremely tall person."

In what may be the first time we've seen Kanye smile for a straight 56 seconds, he had the table in fits of laughter, with Chrissy and Khloe admitting they had 'completely forgot' about Kim's 72-day marriage. You know, because something like that is so easy to forget.

"I thought I need to call her or something," Kanye continued. "And so I started sending her pictures, of like, certain basketball players that used to be cool, that now wear their pants all the way up here," he said as he gestured to the top of his waistline.

You can watch the full clip below. Post continues after video.

"I told her, this is your future!"

Keeping Up With The Kardashian super fans have long noted Kanye began hanging around during this time and may have had something to do with the demise of the Kardashian-Humphries union.

Now the 21-time Grammy winner has all but confirmed his part in the split, which saw him and his now-wife get together just two months later in December 2011.

Was it true love that prevailed? Or had Kanye just been listening to Katy Perry's 2011 hit The One That Got Away on repeat when he realised it was happening to him right in front of his eyes?

Either way, Humphries and his basketball shorts stood no match for the future father of Kim Kardashian's children.

I think it was Dr Phil who said 'if they'll cheat with you - they'll cheat ON you'

I've often wondered though what the statistics are on that. Not suggesting cheating on someone is right, but I do think some people cheat because they are not happy but perhaps they find happiness and end up being faithful. I just wonder because I've personally never met a guy who split up with his wife that didn't have someone else lined up first. I'm talking about cases when the guy decided to leave. This may be a sexist assumption but I just haven't heard of a guy leaving his wife unless he had a mistress to go to, and considering so many men do this surely they can't all be serial cheaters? I may be wrong about this though, maybe there are lots of men who leave their wives without going to another woman?
